Mexacali Grille edges Carson Plumbing
Mexacali Grille's Cole Melancon threw 31/3 innings and struck out 6 as well as going 2-for-4 with two RBIs in an 8-7 win over Carson Plumbing.
Melancon also stole home for the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Will Kahlstorf finished 4-for-4 and his brother Charlie Kahlstorf added a bases-loaded single.
? Bojangle's 12, Beef O Brady's 5: Jermaine Browner hit a two-run homer and Evan Baumgartner a grand slam as Bojangle's defeated Beef O Brady's 12-5.
Browner allowed one run in two plus innings on the mound. Daarial Harris and Joshua Canup finished up the last two innings to seal the victory.
? NBG 3, Hawthorne 1: Reynolds Brown pitched five no-hit innings and Forde Norris came in the sixth inning to close the game for NBG.
NBG was led by Max Woolery and Reynolds Brown, who went 2-for-3.
